Today’s topic is pretty interesting.  8 ways to win my heart.  I would like to think it is pretty simple, however the boys in my house might disagree.  🙂

So let’s see…

1:  Coming home to find the house picked up and the chores all done without me having to ask or remind.

2:  Hand written letters.  Emails and Facebook are nice, but nothing beats getting a hand written note in the mailbox. 🙂

3:  Chocolate!!!  Need I say more. 😀  Maybe this one should have been #1.

4:  When someone puts some thought into doing something nice for me.  Like when my hubby will come home with my favorite beverage out of the blue or when he takes the kids out without me asking just to give me some me time.  One of my favorite things to do is search someone’s Facebook or website to find little things that they like or mention and surprise them with it.  Which is exactly the same thing I like receiving too.

5:  When clients go out of their way to show me how much they love their images.  Whether it is referring their friends and family, commenting on my blog or Facebook, or sending me photos of their images up in their homes.  To name a few ways. 🙂

6:  Letting me cook for you!  I love to cook and especially for my friends and loved ones.  Having people over and making a fabulous meal while enjoying great company absolutely warms my heart. <3

7:  Snuggling a newborn baby and getting down on the floor and playing with a toddler.  .:swoon:.

8.  Quality time with friends.  Spending time catching up, listening, laughing, and bonding.

Wow…that was really hard.  Well, I should say the last few I had to really think about.  To sum it up being kind, caring, loving, and thoughtful is the best way to win my heart.  So what do you think?  Are my 8 ways simple or difficult

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT Ann

My path here wasn't exactly straight, and I think that's what makes it worth telling.

I wasn't supposed to be a photographer. I was supposed to become a doctor. Neurobiology premed, on track, until my oldest son was diagnosed with epilepsy and life took a hard U-turn. I took a break and enrolled in photography classes I had always wanted to take but never could as a premed. On day two I knew. This was where I was supposed to be. Funny thing is, that analytical, detail-oriented part of me never left. It just shows up differently now, in the way I plan every session, read the light, and pay attention to the moments most people miss. I finished my degree in a year and a half, started my business the following October, and sixteen years later I still believe this is the gift God gave me to give to others. And I don't take that lightly.
