Being new to the desert I never would have thought I would find a place so close to home that would feel a little more woodsy. But when I got the inquiry from Bethan and we talked about the Whitewater Preserve I was super excited for what was in store. Prior to our session I drove out to take a peek. I found that I no longer felt like I was in the desert. It was heaven! Don’t get me wrong, the desert has its good points but I really miss the foothills. So it is really nice to have a spot that is about 30 minutes away that feels a little like being in the foothills again.
Our session day arrived and this family rocked it!! No complaining out of any of the boys, which with boys and dads it is bound to happen at least once. Sometimes I think it is in their genes. lol! 🙂 But not with this family. They were amazing! We got so many awesome shots and had a blast doing it. Even the baby, Lennox, was giving us some crazy funny faces up through the end.
Such a fun session and I will definitely be using that location again! 🙂
