Being behind the camera is clearly one of my passions.  Blogging…well, it is definitely not my strong suit.  I always have the best intentions but it is the one thing I have the hardest time doing.  Thanks to a friend and fellow photographer, Wendy Cunningham, I have to decided to take on her 10 day blog challenge.  So for the next 10 days my blog will be full. 🙂 This will hopefully be a time for you to learn a little more about me and for me to get in a better habit of blogging more often.  If you are a blogger, I urge you to also take the challenge.  If you do, please post a link to your blog in my comments.  I would love to learn about you too. 🙂

Here goes…Day 1 – 10 Reasons You Love Your Job

My job:  I am a newborn, family, and high school senior photographer in sunny Palm Desert!

1:  My job allows me to be home with my 3 crazy boys and my wonderful husband!

2:  I get to make my own hours…even though some times they get a little crazy.

3:  I love being able to get to know my clients and build amazing relationships with them.

4:  I get to snuggle newborn babies and watch them grow.

5:  I get to hang out and photograph some inspiring teens.

6:  My job gives me the opportunity to mentor to others.

7:  It gives me the ability to be creative and show the world what my eyes see through my lens.

8:  I get to work anywhere I want.  Sky’s the limit! 🙂

9:  I get to capture those in-between moments that will be treasured for a lifetime.  You know, that moment right before a couple kisses, those sweet smiles, gentle glances, and genuine laughter…just to name a few.

10:  I get to work in my pajamas if I want too.  Yay for dress down days!! 🙂
