As a portrait photographer, I have the incredible privilege of witnessing and capturing some of the most significant moments in my clients’ lives. I truly love getting to capture my clients through their life’s journey, from the celebration of their wedding to the sweet moments with their new baby. This beautiful progression is not just a testament to their love and commitment but also a reminder of why I love what I do.

Beginning Moments

I met Vicki and Jon back in 2016 when they were looking for a wedding photographer. We hit it off right away. In 2017 I got to capture their engagement photos that included chalk wars and their wedding. Their wedding was full of vibrant colors with handmade giant paper flowers, lots of personal touches, and ended with swinging glow sticks. It was such an honor and a blast to photograph.

The Next Chapter

I was beyond excited when Vicki reached out to tell me she was expecting. I love those calls!! Of course we got them on the calendar for maternity and newborn portraits. This is my favorite part of being a family photographer is getting to capture love from the start and as their families grow.

Seeing my clients’ lives unfold and being trusted to capture these milestones is an honor I cherish deeply. Each photograph is more than just an image. It’s a memory, a moment frozen in time that tells a story of love and connection.

When their maternity session came around we headed to the Horton Iris Garden in Loomis, CA. It is one of my favorite places to photograph.

Sweet Baby Boy

Currently, I am only capturing newborns for past clients. So of course I was going to capture Vicki and Jon’s little one. I literally jumped for joy when I heard the news that their little guy was born. Vicki and Jon waited to find out if baby was a boy or a girl. I was so happy to hear their baby was a boy. Their little man wasn’t sure about having photos done and gave me a run for my money. Of course until we brought him outside. He loved being outside the best. So we finished his session outside in the warm summer air.

It’s an incredible privilege to be a part of these significant milestones and to help families create a visual legacy that they can cherish for generations. As a portrait photographer, there’s nothing more fulfilling than capturing the essence of these beautiful life events and knowing that my work will be treasured for years to come.
