Ahh turn offs!  This one is going to be easy.  🙂  When I mentioned today’s topic to my son, Tristan, his response was “like turning off a switch?” Lol!!  Yep love, something like that.  I just love his innocence. 🙂

Here is today’s topic:  4 Turn Offs…

1:  Disrespect – As adults we should know better when it comes to respecting each other.  I mean if adults can’t show respect to each other how are our children suppose to learn.  In our house we have been talking a lot about respect.  So hopefully my boys will learn how important it is to respect each other.

2:  Lying – Being lied to is never good.  And it always comes back to bite you when you least expect it.

3:  Schools that avoid helping the students – Having a child who has an IEP, I have learned so much about what schools will avoid doing and how much a parent has to fight.  Hello people!  Children are our future!!  Even having a child without an IEP can be a challenge when the teachers don’t have enough hands to help all the students.  Which is one reason I am now homeschooling Tristan.

4:  Hot weather! – I know I know I live in the desert there is no way around that.  I am just thankful for air conditioning and it isn’t a bad drive to the beach. 🙂

That was too easy. 🙂  Now off to go snuggle with my family. <3

xoxo,

Ann

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT Ann

My path here wasn't exactly straight, and I think that's what makes it worth telling.

I wasn't supposed to be a photographer. I was supposed to become a doctor. Neurobiology premed, on track, until my oldest son was diagnosed with epilepsy and life took a hard U-turn. I took a break and enrolled in photography classes I had always wanted to take but never could as a premed. On day two I knew. This was where I was supposed to be. Funny thing is, that analytical, detail-oriented part of me never left. It just shows up differently now, in the way I plan every session, read the light, and pay attention to the moments most people miss. I finished my degree in a year and a half, started my business the following October, and sixteen years later I still believe this is the gift God gave me to give to others. And I don't take that lightly.
