Honestly I did not think I would make it this far with this challenge. I am mighty proud of myself. 🙂 So without all the fluff before the post, let’s get down to business!
Day 6 – 5 People Who Mean A Lot (In no certain order)
1: My husband, Travis – We have had our moments but through it all he has always been the one person I can always count on to be there unconditionally. I love more than anything. He is kind, caring, patient, and the most wonderful father. I am very thankful to have him in my life! <3 Love you babe!
2: My 3 boys – My boys are amazing! OK I might be partial. 😉 They make me want to be a better person. They keep my on my toes. They are all 3 thoughtful, loving, and so much fun. Samuel goes through so much with his epilepsy (and other medical issues) yet he pushes through and tries to not let it get the best of him. Samuel’s love of God inspires everyone around him. Tristan is my spitfire that can hold his own no matter what, yet when he wants mama it is all he wants! Tristan is strong, adventurous, loving, and kind. Braydon is my super curious child. But what do you expect from an almost 3 year old. He is smarter than ever and picks up on things way too quick sometimes. He is my cuddle bug. Bray is strong, loving, snugly, and mischievous. They are all 3 my world and they inspire me daily.
3: My Noni and Papa – Though I did not spend much time growing up near them, our time together was great quality time. Papa loved to pinch my cheeks, was strong-willed (I guess I know where I get it), loving, and there for me no matter what. I always knew where I stood with him because if he did not like something he let you know. 🙂 I miss him dearly but am glad he is watching over me. My Noni is much the same. She is an amazing woman that has been through so much in her life. She is kind, caring, loving, always there when I need her, and also going to tell you like it is. I admire her so much!!
4: Al LaVelle – He is my inspiration. Al not only used to take all my yearly portraits but he is a wonderful friend. When I have a question or need to bounce an idea off him, he isn’t afraid to give me an honest answer, which I admire. The day he told me that he liked my work I almost cried. That was the biggest compliment I could have ever gotten. I look up to him for his amazing images, charisma, kind nature, and knowledge. I am truly honored to know Al and have had the privilege to be photographed by him.
5: Debbie Kreisher – From the day we met during a very cold book fair :), I knew there was something special about her. Debbie is a wonderful friend and a spiritual inspiration. I wholeheartedly believe that our friendship did not come about by chance. It was destined. Debbie and her family mean a great deal to me and my family.
Now that I have shed a couple happy tears thinking about just a few of the people in my life that mean a lot to me, I wish it wasn’t so late so I could call a couple of them. 🙂 If today’s post has done anything for me, it has reminded me how very blessed I am.
xoxo,
Ann
