Well I did it, I made it halfway through the challenge and only a day late. 🙂 I knew I would end up not thinking about it one day and miss one. Oh well. I am back on track today. Today’s blog is 6 things I wish I had never done. Whoa this one is a doozy. In fact my boys are sitting here just dying to know what they are. So here I go…posting carefully. 🙂
Day 5 – 6 Things I Wish I had Never Done…
1: Stop dancing. I was a dancer for 16 years and I loved it. I did tap, jazz, and my favorite, Ballet. Then I stopped because we moved and I had already surpassed their instruction and did not want to go backwards. Then over time it was just one excused after another.
2: Student loans. Prior to photography I was a pre-med student focusing on neurobiology/psychology. So yep I have a few loans total over $30,000. :/ If you are reading this and you are just entering college…STAY AWAY FROM STUDENT LOANS!!! They sound good in the beginning but that is how they get you.
3: Started cussing. Yep you read that right. I have been known to use a few choice words. It is so not ladylike. I try not to but when I get heated it is soooo hard. :/ I am a work in progress. 🙂
4: Lost touch with friends and family. When I was younger I always made it a point to remember everyone’s birthday, wrote little notes here and there, and just kept in touch. Then as I got older and my family grew I slacked and now I have lost touch with too many people I wish I hadn’t. Thank you to Facebook for allowing me to find some of those I had lost touch with over the years, but there are still a couple, including a very good friend, Alex, from High School.
5: Put my kids in public school. This year I took on homeschooling my middle son, Tristan, when the public school was failing him. It was a struggle at 1st but it has been the best thing we ever did. Now I really wish I would have home schooled from the start. Maybe if we started from the beginning even my oldest wouldn’t have to struggle so much.
6: I wish we would have never bought a KIA prior to having Tristan, only to trade it in shortly after his birth because it was not big enough. We are still paying for that negative equity. :/
There it is 6 of my regrets. Are you willing to share yours??
xoxo,
Ann
