In keeping with my new goal from my last post, it is time to do some catch up, starting with a very sweet family for late April.  I know I know…bad photographer for not posting these sooner.  So, here we go!

One of the fun things about living in the desert is that we are a resort area, which means we have the opportunity to meet amazing new people every season.  This last season I got a call from Julie inquiring about family portraits while there were here for her parents 50th wedding anniversary.  50 years is amazing!  How wonderful is that!  And very inspiring!  They were absolutely adorable together too.

I had the pleasure of photographing their family of 12 at the Marriott Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert.  For this family of 2 parents, 4 children, 3 significant others, and 3 grandchildren, Shadow Ridge was perfect.  Gorgeous greens, lush landscaping, gazebo, and ponds.  Our only hurdle was the wind gusts.  We tried everything we could to avoid it but the wind wasn’t having it. Even with the little hurdle everything went great and I had a blast getting to know them and capturing this very special time.
