As I have mentioned in a previous blog, I am in the midst of a 365 project. The first week was pretty simple. This week has been more challenging. So I decided, in the honor of 1-11-11, that I would do my photo of the day at 1:11 p.m each day for a week. Another stipulation I gave myself was that the image has to be taken where ever I am. This should be interesting since at 1:11 p.m. I am usually home waiting on Braydon (my youngest) to wake up from his nap, and I don’t want to always be taking photos of toys or Braydon. So this is really pushing me rediscover my surroundings. If this project is doing one thing for me so far, it is helping me broaden my outlook on photographing life in general.

My main focus in photography is portraits and capturing special moments in time, however I am thoroughly enjoying the ability to share my photography in all aspects with this project. I hope everyone is enjoying it as well.

What can I say about today? Well, it was busy! It was the 1st day back to school for my kids, my littlest woke up every hour this morning starting at 2am, I ran errands, cleaned part of the house, folded 10 loads of laundry, picked up kids from school, did the homework thing, did my daily photo for my 365 Project, posted this post and am now headed to bed to read a little before finally drifting off to sleep.

I have to say, after looking back on my day, it wasn’t too bad after all. I was challenged with lack of sleep and a rejection I did not except. However it did not defeat me!! I am redirecting my focus and putting all my trust in what has already been laid out for me.

With that I head to bed! Good night all…
