Baby Silo 7 days young ~ Palm Desert Newborn Photographer
I just can’t get enough of newborn cuteness and how very special they are. I just love that they have so much hair on their bodies that disappears before our eyes, peeling skin, and sweet noises. It just makes me want tons of babies. I know my hubby just loves that. ;) Seriously who can really get enough of a newborn.
Welcome baby Silo! I greatly anticipated your arrival. More than anyone! Ok….ok maybe not as much as your mommy and daddy. Although I was very excited when September finally arrived. Mariah called me early in her pregnancy to set up his newborn session. We hit it off from the start and I was so excited for Silo to get here. Then his due date came and went. Baby’s way of letting us know that they are the ones in control.
This little stinker was too comfy in mommy’s belly. But he finally arrived, and Silo is so handsome and just perfect. Even though Mr. Man did not want to sleep much and he went pee on me twice (oh and nearly pooped on me too), I couldn’t have asked for a more special little one to work with. I guess you can say being peed on and pooped on are two of my on the job hazards. It sure is a good thing they are adorable.
I am so glad to have met Mariah, Scott, and baby Silo! Mariah and Scott, Congratulations! Silo is perfect.

Eagerly Awaiting Baby Mackay ~ Auburn CA Maternity Photographer
A few years back Lea and I shared one of those college courses you would rather not think about ever again. During said class we started a nice friendship along with a few other girls. To my excitement a few months ago I learned Lea and Christian were expecting their 1st little bundle of joy! I was/am so unbelievably happy for them. Well, Lea contacted me about having portraits done and it just so happened we were going to be in the Auburn area just in time to do them.
A couple of weeks ago we met in Old Town Auburn to start a wonderful maternity session. I absolutely love the charm of Old Town, which was perfect for Lea and Christian. Can I just say they are both so photogenic that anywhere would have been perfect. :) After a nice walk and many photos, we headed off for a home location just down the road for some bare belly shots. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to document this wonderful time in their lives.
Congratulations Lea and Christian!! I can’t wait to find out what your little surprise is. I love that you are waiting to find out the gender.
