Isn’t that the truth! If you have had a baby, you know how your whole life looks different from the moment you hold your new little one in your arms. You immediately are in awe. In awe over the fact that this little one is YOURS! That you built every bit of this little baby. Their organs, skin, hair, eyes, eye lashes, lips, toes, fingers, etc. Having a baby is one of the most amazing things that two people can do. I am so happy to have the pleasure of photographing these little ones for their family to cherish forever.
A couple weeks ago I had the great pleasure of meeting 4 day old Mr. Gavin and his family. Gavin was the sweetest little thing! As with any newborn session, you have to go slow and be patient. At first, most aren’t sure about not being swaddled or not being in their mom’s arms, but with time they settle right in, which was just the case for Gavin. In the beginning he needed his mom’s sh-ing voice to help him feel at ease. In no time flat he was completely fine with all the moving and posing. From beanbag to basket to bowl and multiple hat changes. He did great. I loved all the family that were around this little one. Mom, dad, big sister, both sets of grandparents, 3 dogs, and one cat.
