Noonan-Williams Family ~ Palm Desert Family Photographer

March 15th, 2012

I have to admit when I got this inquiry for family portraits I was a bit giddy.  From the time I moved here to Palm Desert a year and a half ago I wanted to photograph at the JW Marriott Desert Springs.  It is an amazing location with so many natural backdrops.  It took everything in my power not to jump up and down and squeal like a preteen school girl when we discussed the location.  :)

This was such a fun session and the best way to start out 2012.  Little Jack was hilarious!  Between flirting with my assistant, Emily, finding his hand, taking a little snooze and giving his mommy a huge smooch, we had a blast.  We played on the bed in the hotel room, then went outside for some fresh air and photos with grandma and grandpa.  This session was eventful and absolutely perfect.

Ok…so let’s get on to the portraits.

Enjoy!

xoxo ~Ann

Here comes one of the shots where little Jack finds his hand. :)

Disneyland Engagement Session: Michael & Shannon

January 1st, 2012

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday season!

Post #1 of 2012!  Wow…2012 already.  It seems like yesterday I was just starting my blog, which happens to be a year old today. :)  When going through my list of sessions that need to make their appearance on my blog, Michael and Shannon’s engagement session was perfect.  With all the holiday engagements being announced on Facebook I knew this would be a great 1st post.  Congratulations to everyone who got engaged over the holidays!  I am so very excited for you!

Now on to Michael and Shannon. :)  Back in October a fellow photographer, Dawniele Castellanos of Eyefull Photography, was in search of a 2nd photographer for this special engagement session at DISNEYLAND!!  So of course I jumped on board.  I just adore working with other photographers, meeting new fabulous people, and of course Disneyland!  Driving from Palm Desert to Anaheim was nuts.  It poured rain the entire way and I was beginning to get worried for what was going to happen with the session.  As I arrived to the park, the rain stopped and clouds started to part.  It was perfect!  Dawniele, Michael and Shannon were all so sweet and so much fun to work with.  We went all over Disneyland and California Adventure.  From Fantasyland to ToonTown to Frontierland to New Orleans Square to Mainstreet, then a quick stroll over to Hollywood Pictures Backlot to a bug’s land to the Wine Country Trattoria and finally to Paradise Pier.   It was an amazing day with an amazing couple.  I loved watching how Michael looked at Shannon, and vice versa.  They are so in love and there wasn’t a better place for engagement portraits than the most magical place on earth.  I cannot wait for their wedding this summer.  Congrats again Michael and Shannon!! :)

For those of you reading and know my main focus is babies and children.  I know you are thinking “but wait you do weddings??”  Well, 2012 will be full of changes and new adventures.  One of those adventures being getting my feet wet with engagements and weddings in 2012.  I am nervous and excited all at the same time, but look forward to ride.  So if you or someone you know is engaged and are looking for a photographer, I would be happy to chat with you about your upcoming wedding. :)  Currently I have some amazing packages to offer.

One more image just for Dawniele!  :)  I had a great time Dawniele and can’t wait to work with you again.
