About

Hello and thank you so much for visiting my blog!! This has been a long time coming and I am so pleased to be able to share with everyone my passion and my adventures.

My name is Ann Keen and I am a wife, mother (of 3 boys), friend, and photographer! For as long as I can remember I have had a love of photographs. If anyone ever needed a photo of someone or something, they came to me. I usually had one or ten to share. :) In January 2008, after some life changes, I decided to really pursue my passion. This step was not only challenging but VERY rewarding. During my schooling, I completed many workshops, and I was always the one with 4+ cameras (all different formats), various types of film (yes I was shooting film and still enjoy doing so on occassion), and everything one could possibly need in case of an emergency. An instructor once told me how she loved my “hunger.” I love to take my time and really appreciate all around me when I shoot. That appreciation causes me to focus on all the details and to have the ability to capture moments that are some times over looked. This is what sets me apart from the crowd. There are not too many places I go that I do not have my camera with me. I would hate to miss an amazing shot, whether it is of a sunset or my children. Speaking of children, as mentioned earlier, I have three boys between the ages of 11 years and 18 months. They are a huge blessing, and along with my husband, my biggest supporters.

As mentioned, I love to photograph everything! Childbirth, newborns, babies, children, and families is what Ann Keen Photography is all about. However, I am beginning to get my feet wet in taking senior portraits, and weddings. No matter what special moment I am capturing, I promise you will be comfortable, relaxed, and happy. I believe that is one of the key to natural photographs. Please take a moment to browse through my current work and website by clicking on “Portfolio.”

I am so glad you stopped by to learn a little about me. I look forward to learning about you and your family in the near future.

Love always,
Ann
